My Coaching Process

The first step of my coaching process is to build a connection with you based on trust and honesty. By creating a nurturing and judgment-free environment, I will encourage you to explore your strengths and recognize any blocks or limiting beliefs that might be preventing you from moving forward and taking action. I will challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and set goals and create action plans that will help you feel a greater level of joy and life purpose.

You have the Power within you!

Imagine you can train your brain to break the pattern of negative thinking? You have the power to un-train this behavior and shift those unhelpful thoughts to thoughts that are actually helpful to you!

Catch It, Check It, and Change It!

  • Catch the thought or recognize when you are having the negative thought

  • Check the thought and question whether this thought is fact or is there evidence to refute this thought

  • Change the thought and practice formulating a new thought that will serve you better

Reframe your WHAT IFS…

Try this…

“If I keep at it, I will improve”

“Mistakes will help me learn”

“I can meet new people and build new connections”

“I am trying my best and that is good enough”

“I will excel”

Instead of thinking this…

“I am bad at this”

“I am afraid of making mistakes”

“I don’t want to go to the party because I won’t know anyone”

“I will never achieve this goal”

“I am going to fail”

  • “My daughter worked with Jodi and she found it so easy to build a connection with her. She was struggling with social anxiety which was very hard for her. However, now she is going about her life with a brighter smile, and a list of mental strategies that make her feel empowered and in control of her emotions and her choices. I am so glad she has built this relationship with Jodi.”

  • “Jodi’s coaching is transformational because at its core is her dedication to establishing the safe and supportive space needed for self-examination and growth. Her genuine compassion coupled with her non-judgmental approach and her remarkable insight, allows her clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals without fear of judgment, thus unearthing the truest version of themselves. When I refer to Jodi I know she will honor each individual’s unique journey and will equip them with the tools necessary to overcome challenges and navigate life transitions so they can lead a more authentic and empowered life.”

  • “I started working with Jodi while I was in college and trying to figure out what I was most passionate about and how to make sure I took advantage of my college experience. I looked forward to my weekly sessions with Jodi as they gave me the space to be truly honest with myself and helped me to realize that I needed to love myself more - and that is a good thing to do! I am now in the working world and I continue to meet with Jodi weekly..I feel really lucky to have this coaching relationship so that I can continue to work on myself!”

“The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.”
